Mar. 4: BSS hosted talk with Three Cups of Tea author Greg Morentson in January. Will be featured on CBS’s The National, Mar. 5

In January, the School was thrilled to host Three Cups of Tea author Greg Mortenson’s talk for students from CIS schools. The students were inspired by Greg’s story and captivating presentation.

CBC Television’s The National news program filmed the presentation for a segment they are doing on Mortenson and his work. We just received word that this segment will air tomorrow, Friday, March 5, on CBC.

The National airs at 10pm on CBC and 11pm on the CBC news network.

Feb. 20: Congratulations to the winners of ‘the One’ Lottery

We have ‘the One.’

Congratulations to all the winners of ‘the One’ Lottery. BSS is proud to announce that the Lottery raised over $120,000. This money will go toward immediate financial aid in support of current students who are on scholarship or receive bursary assistance.

Thank you to the Rogers family for their generous match, and to the BSS community for their support of the BSS Tuition Lottery.

Feb. 10: BSS Hockey Day win, on CityTV news

In the spirit of good fun and traditional sports rivalry, February 3 was BSS Hockey Day against the Havergators. It was a great fight, but in the end the BSS Bobcats took the Foster-Hewitt Cup.
