Annual Fund
The BSS Annual Fund is an ongoing part of maintaining our leadership in girls’ education. Tuition funds operations; the Annual fund goes above and beyond what tuition and fees can provide, and are therefore critical to our goal of providing BSS students with the finest educational experience available anywhere. Annual Fund gifts support the students and the mission of BSS. Together, we can create meaningful opportunities for BSS students.

This is our opportunity to thank you for supporting BSS and your belief in our mission that Girls Can Do Anything.
Learning Commons, Phase II: Gaining Momentum into the 21st Century
Twenty-five years ago, thanks to the generosity of Old Girls and Parents, we completed major upgrades to our Library. It is time to take the next exciting step as we enhance our newly opened Learning Commons and create more opportunities for our girls to become critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators matched by an ability to quickly adapt to changing technology. Our parent and Old Girl communities have always risen to the challenge and helped keep BSS on the leading edge of girl’s education and we now have several opportunities for you to help us provide exceptional opportunities for our girls in our new Learning Commons. We invite you to join us as we proudly take a leadership role in 21st century learning.

Reunion Giving
Every year approaching Reunion Weekend, honoured classes, especially those celebrating milestone reunions, such as 10, 25, and 50 years since graduating from BSS, work together to fundraise a Class Reunion Gift to commemorate these special occasions and support and thank the School for the impact it has had on their lives.
Past reunion gifts have included class bursaries, recognition opportunities during a capital campaign, such as naming a table and chairs in the new Student Centre, or supporting another fund or gift of the class’ choice. For example, to commemorate their 50th reunion, the class of 1955 commissioned a new alter cloth for the BSS chapel, in addition to raising over $25,000 for a class bursary.

Leaving Class Gifts
Graduating classes participate in raising money towards a Leaving Class Gift, which is a legacy honouring BSS graduates as they prepare to embark on new challenges, for the benefit of future generations of BSS girls. The Leaving Class Gifts aim to realize 100% participation from graduating class members. This goal has been successfully achieved in the past.
Previous Leaving Class Gift successes include the creation of class bursaries and significant contributions to capital campaign projects.
