Taking the Stage

Stage productions offer students in the Middle and Senior School a multifaceted opportunity to learn and refine skills in performance, design and production.
By assuming leadership roles across various aspects of theatre production, students gain a comprehensive, real-world experience in the performing arts. And they don’t have to love the spotlight to get involved - the musical encompasses both onstage performances and behind-the-scenes responsibilities, including lighting, set and prop design, writing, directing, stage management and promotions. These creative and technical experiences are often integrated with learning in other courses. For example, the fantastical props that students designed and constructed for Through the Looking Glass connected their in-class STEM learning to the Middle School stage production.
