During the past two weeks, an incredible number of student artists, musicians, dancers and performers have shared their learning and hard work with their families and peers.
The Intersection Visual Arts Exhibit showcased the boundless creativity, imagination and inquisitiveness of students across the entire school.
Nine Grade 7 and 8 students attended the CIS Drama Festival in Stratford, taking part in in workshops and joining their peers from other Ontario schools at a performance of Twelfth Night.
The Grade 9 to 12 Dance Showcase, Treasures, featured a dazzling diversity of dance styles, including jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, hip hop and more.
Students in Grades 4 to 6 and 9 to 12 shared their musical learning at the Junior and Senior Spring Concerts this week. The performances included lovely brass, strings, vocal and other instrumental ensembles.
Congratulations to all the performers! We’re looking forward to A Wrinkle in Time next week, the Senior Drama Showcase on May 21 and the Grade 7 and 8 Spring Concert at the end of May.
