The benefits of After Care at BSS
Creativity and Imagination
We offer a variety of activities when students are finished with their homework. They can get creative through visual arts and music, or embark on elaborate construction projects with a selection of building materials.
Enjoying the Outdoors
Whether it’s warm and sunny or there’s a fresh layer of snow on the ground, After Care groups head outside to get some exercise and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in our state-of-the-art Junior School Playground.
Extended Study and Homework Time
After getting some exercise, students head into the Learning Commons, where they’re encouraged to complete their homework for the day. Our team of After Care specialists are ready to provide a helping hand with concepts or assignments that students are working through.
Learning and Playing Together
After Care encompasses all Junior School grades. Students are encouraged to engage with girls of all ages, learning from each other and taking on mentorship roles in turn.
