The holiday season is a time for celebration and community connection. Read how our students and families come together to support those in need and share in the joy of this special time.
Holiday Love officially launched across the school last week, bringing students together to support local children and families in need. While the holiday season can be a joyful time, it is also challenging for those affected by poverty. Continuing a longstanding BSS tradition, students partnered with Heart to Hand to create pyjama and book gift bundles. Heart to Hand is a grassroots initiative with over 20 years of impact, working with the Catholic Children’s Aid Society and Ernestine Women’s Shelter. This meaningful act of giving fosters compassion and community, inspiring students to care for others in profound ways.
The cherished Festival of Carols debuts on December 4 at the stunning Koerner Hall. Junior, Middle and Senior School students have dedicated countless hours to practicing singing, strings, and band ensembles, showcasing their musical growth and teamwork. Guided by our dedicated music faculty, the young performers are set to deliver a spectacular, high-calibre celebration of music.
