From claymation to electrical circuitry to chemical reactions, students are being challenged academically while demonstrating curiosity, collaboration and creativity in the classroom.
Junior Kindergarten students are continuing their journey of creating claymations inspired by their observations in nature. They are designing and sculpting clay models, and will record and edit their animations.
In Grade 9 science, students are learning about electricity by designing and testing circuits. Students created electrical plans and then brought them to life using buzzers, light bulbs and connectors. Through collaborative activities, they will build both series and parallel circuits, troubleshoot issues and calculate electrical values.
Grade 10 students are bringing their chemistry lessons to life by applying their knowledge of chemical equations and formulas to hands-on experiments. Exploring a variety of reactions including decomposition, neutralization, synthesis and more, they will deepen their understanding of real-world chemical processes.
