• Apply online

  The first step is to create an account on myBSS. Next, complete  the online application form and pay the application fee.

   

  There is no set deadline for Boarding applicants; however, it is recommended that you submit your application early as space is limited and spots fill up quickly. 

  • If you submit an application before November 1, 2024, the application fee is $200.
  • If you submit an application before December 1, 2024, the application fee is $250.
  • If you submit an application after December 1, 2024, the application fee will be $300.

• Submit your documentation

  As part of  the application form, we ask that you upload a photo of the applicant taken within the last six months. Once you submit the form, you will be able to upload a passport or birth certificate, a family photo and the applicant’s school report cards.

• Interview

  We strive to bring together a diverse group of students. Each one contributes her own personality, skills and strengths. Interviews are informal and are intended to help us get to know each other (in person or virtually). This is your chance to ask questions about the BSS experience, and for your daughter to share her background, interests, goals and ideas.

   

  Interviews will begin in October 2024. Virtual interviews are available for families who are unable to travel to Toronto. Our team will be on the road this fall and if possible, can meet you in your home city. Click here to check out where we will be visiting.

• Assessment

  BSS offers an engaging and challenging academic program  where students take ownership of their learning. Our assessment is designed to evaluate your child's numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills so we understand their strengths and needs. There is no need for your child to study or prepare anything in advance.

   

  We will host in-person assessments on two different dates in December 2024 and January 2025. You will have the option to select one of two dates available. We will also hold a virtual assessment in November and January, for families unable to travel to Toronto.
