  • Apply online

The first step is to create  an account on myBSS. Next, fill out the online application form and pay the application fee.

Early Bird Deadline: November 1, 2024 (application fee $200)
    Day School Deadline:
    December 1, 2024 (application fee $250)
  • Submit your documentation

As part of completing the application form, we ask that you upload a photo of the applicant taken within the last six months. Once you submit the form, you will be able to upload  a passport or birth certificate, a family photo and the applicant’s school report cards. Please note that if your child is applying to JK and does not have report cards from a previous nursery or daycare program, you do not need to worry about this step. A detailed checklist is available on myBSS to help you navigate the application process.
  • Interview

Meeting our prospective students and their families is a key part of our Admissions process at BSS. We will be interviewing students and parents in JK and Grades 1. If students feel comfortable coming in on their own, one of our associates will meet with them first. If they are not, we will meet with parents and children together. The interview is a chance for us to learn more about your daughter and help her get to know us and the school.

For those applying to JK, interviews will take place in January 2025. For those applying to Grade 1, interviews will begin in October 2024.
  • Assessment

We will host all Junior Kindergarten and Grades 1 applicants in January 2025 on campus. Applicants come together in small groups and spend time in our classroom, engaging in fun activities with our teachers. Applicants for Grade 1 will also complete some numeracy and literacy activities. The expectation is that the students will come into the classroom independently. Parents will be asked to join the Junior School Principal in our Learning Commons during the assessment. If students are not able to separate, however, we provide an additional space where parents can stay with their child and teachers can pop in to connect and interact with them. This is not meant to be a stressful time for parents or children.
