Rachel Lynch-Hasegawa

Rachel has been an educator of young children for 20 years. Inspired by the schools in Reggio Emilia, she is on a journey to transform her practice. As a teacher-researcher, she is interested in how a collective life is co-composed as children come together in these beginning years of school. Working together with families, focussing on the role of the arts and studio pedagogies, she is curious about the possibilities in these relations. She currently teaches
kindergarten with the Toronto Catholic District School Board at Bishop Macdonell School in Toronto.
