BSS Teacher Recognized for Excellence in Math Education
In March 2025, mathematics teacher Carly Ziniuk will serve as a NASA Subject Matter Expert and deliver a Lightning Talk to over 1,400 participants at the NASA Collective Genius Summit.
Selected as a 2024-25 NASA Space Apps Navigator, she also judged the prestigious Global Space Apps competition. In May, Carly will speak at the OAEM Conference with a presentation titled "Space for All: Inspiring Learners to Practice Math Skills with 2025 Space Events." Carly received the esteemed OAME/AOEM Award for Exceptional and Creative Teaching in Secondary Mathematics, which she formally accepted in Kingston last May. Congratulations Carly for these remarkable achievements!
