Students and staff came together on March 6 for our annual Girls’ March in honour of International Women’s Day. First launched in 2018, the Girls’ March reflects our mission to inspire girls to be fearless and educate them to be leaders.
The march — an idea sparked by alumna Halle JAIN '24 after a Grade 5 classroom project — began as a show of solidarity with the Women’s March and has since grown into a school-wide event.
The celebration kicked off with a speech from the Honourable Marnie McBean – Senator, motivational speaker, author and one of Canada’s most decorated Olympians – who talked about overcoming challenges, staying motivated and using constructive feedback to fuel growth. Special thanks to our student leaders in Grade 6 and the Global Awareness Council for helping to organize this inspiring event.
